Ragi Coconut Laddu

Ragi Coconut Ladoo Recipe

The fun and festivities of Holi are sure to make a person hungry eventually. Instead of offering your family and guests unhealthy sweets and junk food, offer them some nutritious Ragi Coconut Laddus. Ragi is rich in iron, minerals and fibre while coconut contains essential minerals needed by our body to repair cells. Combining the best of these two ingredients, into a yummy treat, will win you points for being a good party host or hostess.

Ingredients:

Ragi Flour                                2 cups

Dry Coconut Powder               1 ½ cups

Ghee (melted)                         1 cup

Warm Milk                                  4 tbsp

Kaloree1 (crushed tablets)     to taste

Method:

Dry roast the ragi flour till it changes colour.

Allow it to cool.

Combine the roasted ragi flour, crushed Kaloree1 tablets and dry coconut powder in a mixing bowl.

Mix well.

Add warm milk or melted ghee into the mixture.

Mix well again.

Shape the mixture into laddus or balls.

Arrange in a serving dish and serve.
