Sugar Free Tablets for Diabetic

Keep a leash on the Diabetes!

Getting diagnosed with diabetes is not the end of the world. With discipline, planning and a little creativity, one can still manage to lead a healthy life and steer clear of serious complications. The most critical thing you can do is confide in your doctor and take his advice seriously and follow through.

The first thing you can do is to manage your intake of carbohydrates. Even though carbohydrates are an essential part of our diet, consuming them causes a surge in blood sugar levels, the very thing a diabetic wants to avoid. An adult man needs approximately between 45 to 60 grams of carbohydrates per meal while a woman needs between 35 to 40 grams. Combining foods that are rich in carbohydrates and fibre with proteins is a smarter approach. The fibre acts like a broom, sweeping out the cholesterol that tends to build up in our blood vessels while the protein helps to slow down digestion, thus effectively slowing down the release of sugar into the bloodstream while making you feel full. Foods that are rich in carbohydrates and fibre include sweet potatoes, pumpkin and dried beans, nuts, etc.

Make exercise your daily medicine. Try to incorporate at least half an hour of exercise into your daily routine. Talk to your doctor before deciding on your routine. It should match your stamina and what you can do easily without hurting yourself. Walking, jogging, swimming, cycling are good options. If you choose to go to a gym, discuss your needs with a trainer and share with him what the do’s and don’ts that the doctor has given you. With a little planning and creativity you can lead a fulfilling life. Don’t let diabetes stop you from enjoying life. Use sugar free tablets for diabetic and enjoy life.
